And immediate repairs are needed so there’s no drop-off in the aesthetics—because all eyes are on it. More construction and heavier traffic present additional safety hazards for landscaping employees as well.
One last challenge to note is working within budget constraints of a municipality, which is mandated to conserve the public’s funds. Giving a downtown a comprehensive facelift and upholding its modern beauty doesn’t always mix easily with tight budgets.
